This review is for the Ocean Wave Portable Table Lamp.The lamp is USB C rechargeable. A plus right off the bat. It charges quickly and has a red LED that shows it is charging on the silicone plug protected charge port.It has a cover which simply sits on top of the lamp, like a lamp shade. This diffuses the light if you don’t want the patterns.When you remove the shade, it projects multi-colored patterns on the ceiling. It does light a bit on the sides, but most of the light is focused up toward the ceiling.You can cycle through the colors via the touch sensitive button on the lamp base, or use the included remote. However, the remote requires 2 “AAA” batteries, which are not supplied.It’s lightweight, but sturdy. It has the majority of its weight in the base making it difficult to fall over. It’s the perfect size for a night stand or end tableIf you have high ceilings (like 12 foot), the lamp will still show on the ceiling, but you will need to bump up the brightness to the highest level.The stemless dimming is very handy to set the right amount of light for your application.It’s a nice light to read by in bed, or remove the cover and just enjoy the patterns. This light will get lots of use as winter approaches, and the daylight is short each day.
There are many cool ambient lighting options with this clever lamp! Taking the shade off gives you even more (see video). It can be used cordless after it’s charged, which is awesome for portable lighting possibilities. The included remote looks complex to me so I just tap on the button to cycle through the options.

Ordered 2 of them. Both came with broken tentacles. I think because the container isn’t marked fragile
This light stands 1 foot tall. It is very adjustable with the remote and the button on the base has a lot of functionality too, though the remote makes it much easier to operate. It does not make any particular pattern on the wall just on the top shade part. It has several colors I can do and brightness levels. Light can either come from the top or the bottom or both.
